CITIC Construction held a series of activities to convey greetings to its female employees on March 8, or the International Women's Day. Li Ling, chairman of the company's labor union, delivered greetings to the female employees on behalf of the party committee. Li highly praised the female staffs' devotion to work and fully appreciated the great efforts they have made to the company.The female representatives said they felt very warm to have received a letter of consolation delivered by the labor union earlier that morning. They pledged to continue to stick to their post and give full play to their abilities as expected. Li also distributed holiday gifts to the women staffs and expressed her best wishes to them.
As a part of the company's Women's Day celebrations, on March 16, a health lecture was staged by a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The professor introduced the pathology, prophylaxis and treatment of diseases in women. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session. After the lecture, the women staffs said they had established a new understanding, built up a new concept and get rid of misunderstandings of women’s health.
