From late 2012 to early 2013, a cold wave swept the entire country, 8 relevant units including the Youth League Committee and Municipal Party Committee of Beijing and Beijing Youth Federation jointly launched a campaign named “Warm Clothes for Winter-bring warm to those who need it most” to help the people in straitened circumstances live through the winter.

On November 11, the 37th independence day of Angola, the Southern Africa Region of CITIC Construction held a group wedding on the headquarters campsite for 11 couples. Gao Kexiang, Chinese ambassador to Angola and Counsellor Li Feiyue, president Yuan Shaobin ,vice-president Su Baoping and Liu Guigen of CITIC Construction were present, giving their best wishes to the 11 couples.

The 2012 CITIC Construction overseas staff family summer camp was held as scheduled from August 13th to 17th, attended by 30 children whose parents are working in projets of CITIC in Northern and Southern Africa, Central Asia and Venezuela.

On August 16, the second training session of CITIC Construction EMBA series--Sun Tzu’s Art of War and Modern Management was successfully held at Capital Mansion, Beijing.

On June 15, 2012, the first training session of CITIC Construction's quality EMBA series--How to Change Business Modes through Network Innovation was held successfully at the Capital Mansion.

The Human Resources Department of CITIC Construction held the Superb Baseball training camp from September 23 to 24.

As most employees of CITIC Construction reside abroad, corporate leaders have been concerned about employees' mental health and family life, and have thus created EAP (Employee Assistance Program). Recently, the second lecture, Growth in Love, has been held at the headquarters.

From July 19 to 21, 2011 CITIC Construction Summer Camp for Children of Overseas Employees was held in Beijing. Jia Liyong, vice president of CITIC Construction, attended the opening ceremony, extending warm welcome to the children and their parents.

From June 7 to June 11, 2011, CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. held the “International EPC Operation and Business Management Training” in Shunyi District, Beijing.
