Angolan CITIC Aluminium Extrudate Plant Project

CITIC (Angola) Aluminium Extrudate Plant is jointly invested by CITIC Construction and CITIC Bohai Aluminium Industries Holding Company Limited. The project, with an investment of $40 million, has an overall planed area of 20 hectares. The factory is expected to produce 10,000 ton of aluminium extrudates used for door and window frames, curtain walls and power industry each year. As the largest extrudate factory in Angola, the project is a miniature of China-Africa capacity cooperation. It will substantially relieve the pressure of Angola's domestic demand for aluminium extrudates and facilitate the country's industrialization. On May 21st, 2019, the plant staged a ceremony in the ZEE to mark the official start of the plant's operation.
