Thai Nong Palai Water Dam Project
In 1990, CITIC Construction undertook the construction of Nong Palai Water Dam in Thailand, which was built for supplying industrial water. The project was made up of three parts, namely, a homogenous earth dam, the spillway, and a drinking water project, on a shale groundsill. In the project, the crest elevation was EL49 meters, the normal water-retaining level was NWL45 meters and the dead water level was LWL45 meters. At the end of November 1992, the water diversion work was completed. At the end of April 1993, the dam and spillway construction was completed.
