As the second phase of the highway project connecting Linxiang of Lincang with Qingshuihe in Yunnan Province, the Linqing Highway project extends for 41.4 kilometers. It is a two-way four-lane highway with a design speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour. The highway works its way from the east to the southeast, passing through Daxing County, Mengsa Town and Mengjian Town. Along its path, the highway has 24 bridges with a total length of 6147 meters and 9 tunnels with a total length of 51,225 meters.
On January 25th, 2021, the project passed the acceptance test on civil construction work organized by the Project Construction Command and has now moved into the second stage, which includes road surface systems, mechanical and electrical engineering works, traffic safety works, among others.
