Beijing CITIC Town Project

Beijing CITIC Town, located in a prime area in Xicheng District, Beijing, occupies an overall floor area of 43.65 hectares and has an overall building area of about 1.2 million square meters. With altogether six high-end architectural forms, including upscale residence buildings, serviced apartment buildings, a super 5-star hotel, 5A first-class office buildings, a shopping mall with an area of about 200,000 square meters and 20 quadrangle courtyards, the Town, a "complex in the city centre" , is a combination of profound Beijing cultural deposits and forward-looking modern architectural styles. As the general contractor of the project, CITIC Construction started its construction work in April 2008 and finished Phase I and Phase II of the project on September 1,2011. The two phases also won respectively the Gold Prize of Beijing Great Wall Cup for Structure and the Zhan Tianyou Award for Civil Engineering, the highest prize for scientific and technological innovation in civil engineering in China.
