In 1988, CITIC Construction served as the general contractor of the Xi'an Sheraton Hotel, a five-star hotel with a total floor area of 38,345 square meters. The construction period was 36 months. After being completed, the project was rated as "Excellent" in engineering quality and awarded "Luban Prize".
