Belarus Hi-tech Agro-industrial Full Cycle Complex Project

On November 26, 2016, CITIC Construction and Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC) signed an EPC contract for the Belarus Hi-tech Agro-industrial Full Cycle Complex Project, of which the contract amount is $ 853.19 million, and the project duration is 36 months.

The project is located at the Pukovicsky district of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Adopting modern biotechnology to deep process crop seeds, the project aims to produce irreplaceable amino acids (lysine, tryptophan, etc.), and further produce high-yield and high-tech balanced compound feed and biological activator. The construction mainly includes: a lysine plant with an annual output of 50,000 tons, a tryptophan plant with an annual output of 5,000 tons, a balanced compound feed plant with an annual output of 1 million tons, a oil crop processing plant with an annual output of 300,000 tons, a 600-million-ton silo grain storage with drying facilities, and a grain production base with an annual output of 1 million tons with supporting infrastructure project and field pipe network.

On March, 26th, 2019, CITIC Construction and BNBC staged the commencement ceremony for the project, marking the official start of the project’s civil construction work.
