On the morning of March 26, 2019, Yang Jianqiang, Vice President of CITIC Construction, and Vladimir Kukharev, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, jointly attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Belarusian agro-industrial complex project, marking that the civil construction work of the project officially begins while pouring the first concrete of the feed mill.
Kukharev highly praised the outstanding achievements of CITIC Construction in implementing the project in Belarus and believed that CITIC Construction will be able to complete this project successfully. Yang Jianqiang said that it is the seventh project undertook by CITIC Construction in Belarus. CITIC Construction is not only the general contractor of the project but also the shareholder of the project company, Yang added, saying that the Chinese side will actively exert its rich experience accumulated in Belarus, mobilize its superior resources, make careful arrangements and work hard to ensure the completion of quality work on time, and strive to build this project into a new model of China-Belarus cooperation.
