On the afternoon of July 3, 2011, the final and closing ceremony of the basketball games of the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises in Angola (CCCEA) was held on the site of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. in Southern Africa.
Eventually, the men's basketball team of CITIC Construction in Southern Africa beat the opposing team, Guangxi Hydroelectric Construction Bureau 68:46 to claim the title of the game. CITIC Construction in Southern Africa won an overwhelming victory in the basketball and table tennis games held by CCCEA, claiming victory as the table tennis team champion, table tennis individual champion and runner-up, as well as runner-up for women's basketball.
Through the competition, CITIC Construction displayed the positive spirit and solidarity of its workers in Southern Africa.
