On June 28, 2011, José Ramos Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, on a friendly visit to Angola, and in the company of Angolan officials, as well as CITIC Construction personnel in charge of the operation, visited Phase 1 of the K.K. social housing project of CITIC Construction in South Africa.
Horta showed great interest in the completion of the K.K. project by CITIC Construction in such a short period of time and the complete municipal supporting facilities used in the project, praising the contributions of the Angolan government and CITIC Construction in the livelihood of the local people.
