On 13thMay, 2011, the International Media and Communication Press Corps organized by Angola government visited the first-stage construction of social-housing program K.K contracted to build by CITIC CONSTRUCTION.
The press corps were specially organized by Angola Information Bureau. The journalists were from China, France, America, Brazil and other countries, including Xinhua News Agency, AFP and AP.
During the three-hour visit, the journalists were all surprised by such a modernized city which is of advance design, quality, large scale, and sustainability.
K.K is the monumental project which demonstrates that Chinese enterprises help Angola realize postwar reconstruction. It is hoped that it can reinforce the traditional friendship between China and Angola.
