At 1:00pm on Sep. 1, 2010, XJ Group—CITIC Construction Consortium was ceremoniously awarded Acceptance Certificate of Burma Multi-functional Diesel Engine Plant Project by Mr. U Aye Than, Chief of Burma Motor and Diesel Engine Industry Corporation (MADI) on behalf of the Employer at Hotel AMARA, Nay Pyi Taw. Mr. Chen Xiaojia, Vice President of CITIC Construction, was present at the ceremony and received the Acceptance Certificate.
The smooth acquirement of the Acceptance Certificate marks the successful completion of Burma Multi-functional Diesel Engine Plant Project contracted by CITIC Construction. In the 6 years of implementation, the Project Department of CITIC Construction strictly performed the main contract. The plants, civil works and steel structures were completed on time with high quality; the installation and commissioning of all the equipment for casting, forging, heat treatment, machining workshop, GA shop and laboratory were completed on schedule, with shared equipment and processing equipment functioning smoothly; all training related to the equipment was completed; the whole 67 key parts of the diesel engine produced independently passed the qualification tests and the 4 V6 sample engines, 1 V8 sample engine and 1 V12 sample engine passed the qualification test once and for all.
