On Sep.7, 2010, CITIC Construction Chongqing Yanjiang Project Department signed the Steel Supply Contract for 6 sections of the Phase I with CITIC International Co., Ltd. and other related construction partners. Chongqing Yanjiang Expressway Project (Main City to Fuling) adopted the contracting mode of BOT+EPC and CITIC Construction Chongqing Yanjiang Project Department is responsible for its implementation. The Project, passing though three districts of Chongqing, i.e. Nan’an, Ba’nan and Fuling, is a major component of the Chongqing Expressway Net Planning. The overall length of the expressway is 83.537 kilometers, with 12 tunnels totaling 35.532 kilometers and 41 bridges totaling 15.91 kilometer. The total investment is 8.659 billion Yuan.
