On August 2, 2010, Mr. Liu Bingxin, General Manager Assistant of CITIC Construction and General Executive Manager of Venezuela Social Housing Project, visited and had a friendly meeting with Mr. Ricardo Antonio Molina Peñaloza, the newly-appointed Minister of Housing Ministry. Ms. Eva Cardozo, the Minister Assistant also attended the meeting.
Mr. Liu Bingxin briefed the business development of CITIC Group and CITIC Construction and reported the implementation of Social Housing Project and the current major difficulties to the Minister. At present, there are 332 residential buildings under construction on the Palma Sola and Arsenal blocks, of which 295 buildings’ major structure had been finished.
After the meeting, Mr. Liu Bingxin presented the Model of China’s National Stadium as a gift to the Minister, who highly praised such a magnificent project accomplished by CITIC Construction.
