KB Highway Reconstruction Project in Kazakhstan Holds Ceremony for the Commissioning of Maintenance Station No. 79 and the Handover of the Entire Project

On December 19, 2025, the KB Highway Reconstruction Project in Kazakhstan held a ceremony marking the commissioning of Maintenance Station No. 79 and the completion and handover of the entire project. At the event, Kara Abiyev, Manager of the Karaganda Oblast Branch of Kazakhstan Highways, and representatives of CITIC Construction signed the commissioning certificate for Maintenance Station No. 79 and symbolically handed over the keys to the station’s head. The ceremony was attended by Sezdekov, Vice Mayor of Balkhash City, and Saimin, a representative of the Karaganda Oblast Branch of the Kazakhstan Highway Maintenance Company.

Leveraging modern technologies and a comprehensive range of advanced equipment, Maintenance Station No. 79 enables road maintenance operations to be carried out on a continuous and efficient basis, thereby comprehensively enhancing the service level of transport infrastructure and effectively safeguarding road traffic safety. The full completion and commissioning of the maintenance station mark the final completion and handover of the Kazakhstan KB Highway Reconstruction Project along its entire length, representing an important milestone in Kazakhstan’s national development process.
