On February 6, 2012, the dispatch ceremony for the first batch of trains for Buenos Aires Subway Line A was held in Shanghai. The delivery of the two stainless steel metro trains marks a new stage in the project of exporting China’s large complete electromechanical equipment to Argentina.

At 6 p.m. January 30, 2012, as part of the Angola RED 100,000-suite project, contracts for building 5,000 suites in Kilamba Kiaxi (K.K.), 6,000 suites in Benguela, 4,000 suites in Namibe and 11,000 suites in Lubango, and the supplementary agreement on building 8,000 suites in Zango were signed in Sonangol’s headquarters, with a total value of 1.704 billion U.S. dollars. Manuel Domingos Vicente, Minister for Economic Coordination and president of Sonangol of Angola and Liu Guigen, vice president of CITIC Construction signed the contracts on behalf of Sonangol and CITIC Construction.
