At 12 p.m. on July 12th (Luanda Time), the Taking-over Ceremony for the first four blocks of Phase I of the K.K. project in Angola was held on the Southern African site of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd.
On the afternoon of July 3, 2011, the final and closing ceremony of the basketball games of the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises in Angola (CCCEA) was held on the site of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. in Southern Africa.
On June 21, 2011, Chen Xiaojia, deputy general manager of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. headed a delegation to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, for a two-day visit.
From June 23rd to July 2nd, 2011, Chen Xiaojia, deputy general manager of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. headed a delegation to Belarus for fieldwork.
On June 15, 2011, meeting occupancy conditions, the final acceptance of the first batch of four plots and peripheral supporting municipal facilities of the K.K. project of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. in Southern Africa was completed as scheduled.
On June 28, 2011, José Ramos Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, on a friendly visit to Angola, and in the company of Angolan officials, as well as CITIC Construction personnel in charge of the operation, visited Phase 1 of the K.K. social housing project of CITIC Construction in South Africa.
On the morning of July 1st,2011, in the company of Angola’s government officials, Liu Guigen, general manger of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. in Southern Africa, as well as those in charge of the project, and former Brazilian President, Luiz_Inácio_Lula_da_Silva (Lula), visited Angola’s CITIC K.K. project site in Southern Africa.
From June 16 to 21, 2011, the inaugural ceremonies of project manager departments were held successively for contract sections W8, W7 and W9 of Chongqing Yanjiang Highway undertaken by CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. So far, contract sections W1 to W9 of the highway have all been inaugurated, marking the entry of the highway construction into a new phase.
At 9 a.m. on June 21, 2011, Namibian President Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba, in the company of Angolan officials, went to Kilamba Kiaxi, Angola to visit Phase 1 of the social housing project of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd.(K.K. project).
On June 15, 2011, CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. held “Outstanding Performance Management Training” at their headquarters.
