On June 3, 2018, the award-giving ceremony of the 15th Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize was held in Beijing Guoyi Hotel. Lu Chunfang, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Railways and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, announced the list of prize-winning projects. The Algeria East-West Highway Project jointly constructed by CITIC Construction won the Tien-yow Jeme Prize for Highway Engineering. Li Zhengquan, Chief Engineer of CITIC Construction, on behalf of the company, attended the award-giving ceremony and received the trophy.
CITIC BN Vocational School (Angola) held the 2018 opening commencement and graduation ceremony on May 9, 2018.
