The chicken and cattle feed workshop of CITIC Construction-Belarus agro-industrial complex project started a trial production with raw materials on December 24, 2020, and produced successfully the first batch of two tons of qualified cattle feed. Following the first production of the premix workshop in November, the chicken and cattle feed workshop became the second workshop for a successful trial production. As a strategic leading part of the project, the construction of the feed workshop project continues its progress smoothly as planned.
The Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventh Council of China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) & 2020 Industry Annual Meeting was held in Xi`an from December 24 to 25, attracting nearly 300 representatives from about 150 CHINCA council members. Recently, CITIC Construction was awarded the AAA enterprise credit grade in the field of overseas complete engineering, the highest certificate of enterprise credit grade in the 2020 credit grade evaluation for import and export of machinery and electronic enterprises. The grade evaluation was co-organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electrical Products (CCCME) and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation. CITIC Construction has been awarded AAA credit grade in this sector for the ninth consecutive year.
Yuri Senko, the newly appointed Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, visited the Belarusian Agro-industrial complex project undertaken by CITIC Construction on November 24, 2020. This is the first major project the ambassador has visited since he was appointed by Belarusian PresidentAlexander Lukashenko on November 19.

At the invitation of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Piao Bo, Vice President of CITIC Construction, attended the cooperation and exchange meeting with ambassadors to China on the afternoon of July 30, 2020. The attendances were ambassadors to China from ten countries including Brazil, Uruguay, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal and Algeria as well as representatives from 14 major CCCME member companies.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Angola’s Geological Institute of Angola (IGEO) undertaken by CITIC Construction was held on July 3, 2020. Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço cut the ribbon for the project.
