On July 25, the table tennis promotional campaignjointly hosted by CITIC Construction Southern Africa and Angola Table Tennis Association was successfully held in a primary school in the city of Kilamba.
Dues, Chairman of Angola's President Foundation, Filomeno, Chariman of Angola Table Tennis Association, Messias, Vice Chariman of the association, Li Guozhen, Assistant General Manager for CITIC Construction Southern Africa , Gina, Headmaster of the primary school, officials from the Angolan Government, the local media, officials from Angola Table Tennis Association, employees from CITIC Southern Africa and more than 300 pupils took part in the event.
Li Guozhen, Assistant General Manager for CITIC Southern Africa , gave a brief introduction of CITIC Construction’s sponsorship of the table tennis social return project in Angola. He hoped that the seven athletes preparing to train in China enjoy theirselves, achieve great progress in table tennis skills and contribute to Sino- Angola friendship.
CITIC Construction sponsered athletes from the national youth team who won the Angola University League championship and young athletes preparing to train in China put on an exhibition match and won rounds of applause and cheers from the audiences with their wonderful skills.
In the Regional Headquarters of CITIC Construction Southern Africa, the Angolan table tennis athletes visited the apartments and KK project substations. One athlete of the Angola national youth team sponsored by CITIC Construction preparing to train in China said he loves here and wants to be able to live here in the future. “The city was built by CITIC from the ground up, we believe in CITIC Construction, we believe in the Chinese people, and we believe that our nation will enjoy a bright future and prosper as China in the near future.”
