From April 9 to 14, 2012, the Angolan national table tennis team sponsored by CITIC Construction participated in the African region Junior Table Tennis Championships held in Algeria. In the competition that ended on April 13, three female players sponsored and funded by CITIC construction for training in China performed outstandingly, receiving the women's team bronze medal and the qualification for the World Junior Table Tennis Championships. The medal marks a "zero" medal breakthrough of the Angolan table tennis team in the African arena.
