On January 7, 2012, carrying with China-Angola friendship, six junior Angolan table tennis players trained in China sponsored by CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., together with a coach, returned to Angola, and they were warmly welcomed by relevant personnel from CITIC Construction and the Angolan side at the Luanda International Airport.
As scheduled, these players will receive intensive training from Chinese coach recruited by CITIC Construction, and participate in the ensuing Angolan National Table Tennis Championships, African Junior Table Tennis Championships in Algeria and World Table Tennis Championships in South Africa.
As a great event in Angola’s sports development, this table tennis program sponsored by CITIC Construction drew wide attention from all walks of life in Angola. Angolan media, including TV, radio and newspaper, covered the welcome ceremony.
